Baptist Health System plans to develop a new campus that will include an acute-care hospital and medical office building on a 23-acre site near Interstate 10 and Highway 46 in Boerne, TX. The project has an initial investment value of more than $50 million, approved and funded.

The Boerne Kendall County Economic Development Corporation team is working with Baptist Health to ensure the city’s first hospital will not only serve the city of Boerne but the entire region. City and county leaders of this fast-growing area agree the hospital project will meet a need expressed by the residents for years.

While Baptist heal already has an affiliated Surgery Center in Boerne, this investment represents a significant addition to the quality of life to Boerne and Kendall County residents.

The hospital portion of the project is expected to be completed by late 2023 or early 2024.
